Kassie

Kassie is a 2 year old American Bulldog mix who is spayed, fully vaccinated, crate trained, and potty trained. She is a smart, loyal girl who has endured significant abuse and is now looking for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe. Kassie needs an experienced handler who understands trauma and bully breeds, as unfamiliar people and environments cause panic attacks.

She prefers male dogs, but can do well with most other dogs when introductions are slow and appropriate. Kassie has low activity needs and would do best in a quiet, fully indoor home. She is independent, does not need constant attention, and settles nicely in her crate when left alone. She is a protector and will not allow any outsiders in the home without proper entry. Kassie is a very smart dog and will require a slow transition. 

Found as a frightened stray on the streets of Los Angeles, she arrived with severe untreated injuries and was terrified of everything around her. Today, she is thriving and ready for a forever home with a patient adopter willing to give her the time, love, and guidance she deserves.
